Any person of good character is encouraged to apply to join our great group of men and women who want to “give back” to the community.

We invite you to a complimentary breakfast or dinner meeting to experience our Club.  Please help us with our meal count by advising your sponsor of your intent to attend or contact us on this site.

Joining requires a Lion sponsor and one can be found by simply  contacting the Club and submitting our
River Hills / Lake Wylie Lions Club Membership Application.

Where and when do you meet?

Dinner Meetings and Dinner Events are 7:00 pm on the 1st Tuesday in January through March, June and September through December. There are none in April, May, July or August. Breakfast Meetings are the third Saturday of each month except December at 8:00 am. Both meetings are held at the River Hills Country Club. The Lions Club makes arrangements with River Hills Security for Lions members to have immediate and easy access through the Main Gate of River Hills on hwy 49. (It is the first Left after crossing the Buster Boyd Bridge coming into SC.)

How much are dues?

River Hills / Lake Wylie Lions Club Dues are $85.00 / quarter. All expenses associated with our monthly breakfast and monthly dinner meetings are covered by your dues.  There is a one-time $50 joining fee that supports Lions International and the quarterly dues are pro-rated for new members.

What is expected of me if I join the River Hills Lions?

First & foremost we expect you attend most meetings, have fun and enjoy the fellowship. In addition each Lion is expected to contribute her or his expertise, passion or energy on at least one fundraiser or service project each year. Please view Responsibilities.
